We started talking in science today about what is needed to grow a new bean plant. We used our skills of observation to compare a dried bean to one that had been soaked in water overnight. We saw the 3 parts inside the seed, the tiny plant, the seed coat, and the seed leaf. Below are some pictures of our using our hand lenses to look more closely and filling out our observations on our sheet.
