Our essential question is science for the week is "What fo scientists do?" We started out asking the children to draw a picture of how they see a scientist and write a few sentences describing their job. We then read a book called "The Truth About Scientists" that dispelled some myths of scientists. One for example is that they always wear lab coats. Another is that they only work with chemicals and potions. It was really interesting to see how different all of the student's drawings were. Featured in this blog are John, Lily, and Leena.
